Reviews and Ratings
I had an amazing stay at the hotel, with a room that was exceptionally comfortable and clean, providing a perfect retreat after a long day. The service was fantastic, although a bit lacking in attentiveness at times. The location was ideal for both relaxation and outdoor activities, offering stunning views. The dining experience was good overall, with attentive staff. The facilities were great, enhancing my overall experience.
I had a mix of experiences at the hotel. The rooms were a bit underwhelming as the sea view I paid for didn't exist, and the temperature in the bedrooms was too warm at night. However, the service was exceptional and made me feel like a proper lady from Victorian days, though the restaurant service was slow. The location was ideal with easy access to the beach and town, but the waiting times for certain facilities were frustrating. The dining was hit and miss, with some buffet items not being hot enough. Overall, it was a pleasant stay with some minor hiccups.
The hotel offers stunning big windows with sea and Mourne views in the rooms, featuring a standard double bed and a single bed. Although not every room has a perfect view, my stay was accompanied by a strong men's aftershave smell despite leaving the windows open throughout. The shower drain was blocked from the moment we arrived.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of highs and lows. The location was lovely, with great views over the sea and Mourne mountains, but the service in the restaurant was quite disorganized. The rooms, unfortunately, did not meet my expectations given the rate charged. On the positive side, the staff were friendly and accommodating, making my stay more comfortable.
The hotel offers spacious and clean rooms with a great size TV and a quiet location at the end of the corridor, providing a lovely sea view. The service is extremely polite, accommodating, and friendly, although there was a minor oversight with pre-meal cocktails. The location is fantastic, combining a beautiful coastline and mountain views with a peaceful atmosphere just a few hundred yards from town. The dining experience, while lacking in some aspects, is offset by nearby restaurant options. The facilities are generally good, although improvements could be made.
The hotel offers stunning sea and mountain views from the rooms, which were beautiful and very comfortable. The Nespresso machine added a nice touch to the room amenities. The only downside was the inconsistent communication during treatments, but overall a great experience.
My 50th birthday stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. We were upgraded to a beautiful seaview room with a thoughtful congratulatory card and treats, but the room for three was inadequate and overpriced.
